About the project
Project Period: Jan 2024 - Jan 2026 (24 Months)
This is a collaborative project between Nascent RDO-U, Education for Sustainable Development (Ethiopia) and with funding support from International Child Development Initiatives (Netherlands). We envision that all children in Uganda (0-8 years) will live in child friendly communities, have access to high quality, equitable and inclusive education services and are supported by caring and loving caregivers.
Project Focus
The project will build two playing hubs for children in Iganga district-Busoga region. These hubs will be family friendly centres where children access playing materials and educational activities. At the play hubs, parents/caregivers will also participate in workshops and child stimulation activities while connecting with fellow parents for social and economic development.
